Aluminum Sash Windows
Aluminum sash windows are a great deal more flexible than the Single-Hung design because you can open from both the top and bottom sashes for better ventilation and airflow. Both sashes can be tilted downward for easy cleaning. This will eliminate having to hire professional cleaners to take care of windows that are higher up. They are somewhat more expensive than the Single-Hung version but well worth it.
